Visionary Founder
Apostle Randolph Ferdinand, the visionary founder of Helping Hands Christian Community Center, was born in Trinidad and Tobago. His transformative calling to ministry took root almost 35 years ago during a visit to New York from Canada. Standing in the heart of the Port Authority Bus Terminal, he was profoundly moved by the stark reality of homelessness, witnessing individuals lying in the streets and resorting to eating from garbage cans.
This powerful experience, though he was not yet a pastor, sowed the seeds of a calling that eventually led him to establish a ministry dedicated to serving society’s castaways. Apostle Randolph Ferdinand’s journey reflects divine intervention, guiding him to address the plight of the homeless, bridging his Caribbean roots with a mission in the vibrant city of New York.

Helping Hands Christian community Center embodies a compassionate outreach that extends beyond spiritual nourishment, fostering a holistic approach to community care. Daily, it serves as a beacon of hope, diligently imparting the Word of God to those seeking spiritual sustenance. However, its impact transcends the spiritual realm, as it wholeheartedly engages in addressing the immediate needs of the vulnerable.
Through dedicated efforts, H2C3 ministry provided housing, clothing, and nourishment to the homeless for many years , exemplifying a profound commitment to selfless service. The hallmark of this ministry lies in its non-judgmental ethos, where individuals are embraced without consideration of their circumstances. The focus is not just on temporary relief but on fostering genuine transformation, empowering individuals to overcome adversity and emerge with renewed purpose and dignity.

Statement of Faith
“In accordance with our Christian beliefs, we affirm our faith in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the divinity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, and victorious resurrection.
Salvation is a gift offered through faith in Christ alone. We uphold the authority of the Bible as the inspired and infallible Word of God, guiding our beliefs and practices. As a community, we strive to live out the teachings of Jesus, embracing love, compassion, and justice.
We affirm the power of prayer, the importance of fellowship, and the commission to share the Gospel, committed to fostering spiritual growth and transforming lives through the grace of God.”
